| Mission: To help South Asian women achieve their goals to become inspiring leaders and to develop their potential through a foundation of support and mentorship. The spirit of IWL is about excellence in leadership, advocating for change, educating, and raising awareness.
As South Asian women, we have accomplished a great deal in spite of the many challenges we face, both individually and as a group. We benefit by sharing our similarities of culture and gender, and our differences in professions, life stages, and perspectives. By drawing upon shared learning, we reach our greatest potential as a community, thus providing a foundation for future South Asian women leaders.

resides in San Francisco, CA, her pursuit of design has carried her far and wide, from Bangalore to Paris to New York. A graduate from Parsons with a major in Communication Design, Ayesha nurtures the spirit of exploration and adventure that infuses her work. Her personal design style gravitates to the layered and varied, inspired and informed by diverse influences, yet grounded in the solid and simple. Her design philosophy stems from a fluid evolutionary process ~ one that germinates from the roots of a brand's character and branches out through the elements of its culture. Her experience over the past 6 years has covered projects for Apple (U.S) , TiVo (U.S), Caterpillar Footwear (U.S & International), Harley Davidson (U.S), Camel, Skin by Alison Raffaele, MTV Style (India), The Manipal Group (India), Pantaloons (India), amongst others. A self-confessed brand-geek, Ayesha enjoys the tactile pleasures of print and is captivated by the spectra of forms and hues of interactive. Spirited, saucy and sensible, Ayesha has a flair for plain-speak that sometimes gets her into big trouble. Her globe trotting adventures taught her to embrace contrasts and contradictions but her craving for hot peppers remains stubbornly Indian. She spends far too much money on baubles and loves to surround herself with objects and characters of beauty. |
